In Living Color with BET’s Novi Brown
TXTURE Magazine is back! This time, we have Novi Brown of the BET TV series SISTAS. In an interview with TXTURE writer Ashira Provost, she discusses life on set as Sabrina, her love of astrology, and her transition from Germany to the US.
To bring the vision to fruition, TXTURE brought a team of all-star talent to LA. The team comprised of renowned photographer Island Boi, African braid artist Aggie Hair, Celebrity Makeup Artist Marquis Ward, and Celebrity Wardrobe designer Courtney Carson. In the end, it was a tribute to Black creativity!
When asked what inspired this new issue, TXTURE’s Editor in Chief, Monifa Coffee says, “I believe Black creatives are the backbone of every industry. Since the first words to hit the page of TXTURE, we have taken immense pride in celebrating Black talent, Black beauty and Black art.
