Eyebrows are hands down one of the most essential parts of face shaping, but what happens if your brows are not quite up to par?

Can you never get your brows right? One comes out looking like Beyoncé and the other one Stevie Wonder? Do you have sparse brows? Over plucked brows? Alopecia? Well ladies I've got the answer to your prayers! The latest trend in beauty, that we just can't seem to get enough of is, Microblading.Microblading is a cosmetic semi-permanent tattoo technique that fills in, reshapes or completely creates eyebrows. Trust me, it's not as scary as it looks, and it's almost painless! You begin by choosing your preference of eyebrow shape. Your eyebrows are then drawn on and aligned by using an eyebrow ruler. Next, a topical numbing cream is applied to the area, followed by a liquid anesthetic. The technician then begins the process by using a hand-held tool, to deposit pigment into the skin. To give the illusion of real eyebrow hair, the technician draws individual, tiny, thin hairlike strokes that blend naturally and mimic traditional hair.

After the application is done, your eyebrows will look slightly darker at first, but will fade, as tattoos generally do, about 30%. Technicians recommend coming back 2 weeks after initial appointment, to touch up any spots to your liking. The color fades over time, typically by 18 months you will need a touch up, to maintain optimal results and keep your brows looking fresh! The price for this bad boy can range anywhere from $500- $900 for the initial treatment. Touch-ups between $200- $500. That may sound pricey to some, but if it cuts down on beauty prep time and you can swim with them without worry, why not?
